Begun by DSM in 2004 and meanwhile taken over by Chemelot Campus Vastgoed CV, this project involves taking the existing, outdated campus and redeveloping it around high-tech research and business, as well as making it attractive to external knowledge companies. The Brightlands Chemelot Campus occupies 22 hectares, of which around 100,000 m² GFA is being developed for offices and laboratories. An impressive total. Working with DSM and later Chemelot Campus Vastgoed CV, Brink developed a master plan for the project which was then elaborated into a business case providing overall financial insight into the land utilisation, real estate development and real estate operation. At the same time, we set up the campus management organisation as a highly effective development agency and for several years now have been managing the various renovation, infrastructure and new-build projects, such as the Center Court, and the associated European tenders.
